Conserve to preserve green.

Advocate of Clean Energy

As an organization dedicated to helping people live well, we will continue to do our part to reduce our impact on the environment while working to create a safe, healthy environment for our patients and neighbors now and for generations to come.

We’ve already made great strides in reducing our carbon footprint through green building and energy efficiency projects. But we’re not stopping there. In addition to continued aggressive energy efficiency work, we have also announced a commitment to power our health care operations with 100% renewable electricity by 2032.

Transition to clean energy is also another tactic in the fight against chronic health conditions

Renewable Energy is Our Future

The primary objective for deploying renewable energy in India is to advance economic development, improve energy security, improve access to energy, and mitigate climate change. Sustainable development is possible by use of sustainable energy and by ensuring access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for citizens. Strong government support and the increasingly opportune economic situation have pushed India to be one of the top leaders in the world’s most attractive renewable energy markets.

Compared with fossil fuel technologies, which are typically mechanized and capital intensive, the renewable energy industry is more labor intensive. Solar panels need humans to install them; wind farms need technicians for maintenance.

This means that, on average, more jobs are created for each unit of electricity generated from renewable sources than from fossil fuels
