The/Nudge Foundation

The/Nudge Institute is a Bengaluru-based nonprofit organization committed to eradicating poverty in India through scalable and sustainable interventions. Founded in 2015 by Atul Satija with support from Nandan Nilekani and Tata Trusts, the institute operates three key impact streams: the Centre for Rural Development (CRD), which focuses on lifting vulnerable families out of extreme poverty using the “Graduation Approach”; the Centre for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (CSDE), which trains youth in future-ready skills and collaborates with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) to enhance employability ; and the Centre for Social Innovation (CSI), which incubates and accelerates nonprofit startups addressing critical social challenges . The/Nudge Institute has reached over 15 million people, with support from more than 70 corporate and philanthropic partners, and has been recognized as a Great Place to Work-Certified™ organization .
