Unveiling the Denza Z9 GT: A Glimpse into the Future
Anticipated to make its global debut at the prestigious Auto China exhibition in Beijing on April 25, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in China has provided a sneak peek into the Z9 GT’s features and specifications.
This groundbreaking EV boasts a trio of electric motors, with one situated at the front, delivering an impressive 304 bhp, while a pair positioned at the rear churn out 318 bhp each, culminating in a staggering combined output of 939 bhp.

The Denza Z9 GT, a sleek wagon crafted by Audi veteran Wolfgang Egger, showcases a sophisticated design with a more understated front bumper and smaller air intake for its all-electric variant. The PHEV version, however, features a larger air intake and more aggressive bumpers. In terms of exterior design, the Z9 GT takes inspiration from the Porsche Panamera, with its body size closely mirroring the Porsche hatchback. Measuring 5180 mm in length, 1990 mm in width, and 1480 mm in height, the Z9 GT boasts commanding dimensions.
The PHEV variant is slightly larger, with a length of 5195 mm, making it 128 mm longer than the Panamera. The vehicle is offered in four body colors: silver, white, gray, and black, riding on R21 wheels with 255/40 front and 275/40 rear tires. A notable feature of the Z9 GT is its turning rear axle, enhancing maneuverability.

The Denza Z9 GT PHEV comes in three trim levels: Pro, Max, and Ultra. The Pro variant is the most basic, lacking features such as air suspension, a heads-up display (HUD), leg support and massage functions for the second-row passengers, and a streaming rearview mirror. It also comes with a single interior camera. The Max trim includes all of these options, while the Ultra trim adds even more premium features, including electrically powered doors, Nappa leather seats, and a 26-speaker sound system.
In addition, Denza introduced the Limited First Edition (LFE) of the Z9 GT at the launch event. This exclusive edition is limited to just 2010 units and is available in the Max and Ultra trims.
