Clairco, legally registered as Aliferous Technologies Pvt Ltd, is a Bengaluru based company that develops IoT and AI enabled technologies for indoor air quality management and HVAC energy optimisation in commercial buildings. Founded in 2018 by Aayush Jha and Udayan Banerjee, the company was established after Jha’s father was hospitalised due to poor air quality in New Delhi, an experience that shaped the company’s focus on affordable and measurable clean air solutions.

Clairco’s core offering, marketed as Clean Air as a Service, retrofits existing central air conditioning and ventilation systems with patented nanofiber based, low pressure drop air filters, paired with IoT sensors that continuously track pollutants and energy performance. Customers pay a recurring subscription fee rather than upfront capital expenditure, with air quality outcomes linked to the payment model.

The company operates primarily across commercial real estate segments in India, including tech parks, malls, co-working spaces, and airports, and has also engaged in early market activities in the UAE. Clairco has represented its work at international forums such as COP28 in the UAE. Since its founding, the company has expanded its product line to include occupancy and people counting sensors alongside its original air quality monitoring devices.
