Priced competitively at Rs 1.90 lakh (ex-showroom), the CSR 762 brings unique features to the electric bike market, setting it apart from its counterparts.
Innovative Features and Design: The CSR 762 claims to be a trailblazer in its class, boasting a distinctive 40-liter space for a helmet inside the dummy fuel tank. This feature, coupled with the motorcycle’s stylish design, sets it apart as a blend of innovation and creativity. With color options like Scarlet Red, Black Diamond, and Molten Mercury, Svitch aims to cater to diverse aesthetic preferences.
Impressive Specs and Performance: Powering the CSR 762 is a potent 3kW mid-drive PMS DC electric motor, capable of a peak output of 10kW (13.4 bhp) and 56 Nm. The bike derives energy from twin Lithium-ion battery packs with a combined capacity of 3.6kWh, offering an impressive peak range of 190km (IDC). Its performance is noteworthy, reaching a top speed of 120 kmph. The air cooling technology employed eliminates the need for liquid cooling systems, contributing to the motorcycle’s efficiency.
Robust Build and Ride Dynamics: Built on a sturdy steel skeleton frame, the CSR 762 ensures stability and durability. Telescopic front forks and a mono-shock at the rear handle suspension duties, providing a smooth and controlled ride. Braking is well-managed by 300mm front and 280mm rear discs with a combi braking setup. Rolling on 17-inch rims fitted with 110/80 front and 140/70 rear tires, the motorcycle weighs 155 kg (kerb) and 200 kg (wet).
Advanced Features and Connectivity: Svitch has integrated advanced features into the CSR 762, making it a tech-savvy electric bike. The motorcycle offers six riding modes, a built-in mobile charger, a covered mobile holder, and seamless connectivity with iOS and Android smartphones.
Showrooms and Customer Support: In a strategic move, Svitch has established exclusive showrooms in key cities such as Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore. The network not only serves as a platform for showcasing their innovative electric bikes but also supports a battery-swapping infrastructure, ensuring convenient solutions for customers.
Conclusion: With the launch of the CSR 762, Svitch has made a bold statement in the electric bike market. The combination of innovative features, impressive specifications, and a commitment to customer support positions the CSR 762 as a promising addition to the growing electric motorcycle landscape. As Svitch pioneers sustainable and creative solutions, the CSR 762 signifies not just a mode of transport but a symphony of speed and innovation.
