    In 2020, the United States had 97.2 GW of solar capacity installed.
    Germany is the third-largest user of solar power globally.
    Germany has been a leader in solar energy for years and has around 53 GW of solar capacity installed.
    India is the fourth-largest user of solar power globally.
    India has set a target to reach 100 GW of solar capacity by 2022.
    Japan is the fifth-largest user of solar power globally.
