The Munro MK_1 Pick-Up is an all-electric 4x4 pickup truck designed for durability and off-road capability. It's the second electric 4x4 released by Munro Vehicles, a Scottish company.
The MK-1 Pick-Up shares many features with its sibling, the MK-1 Truck. Both vehicles are designed for a long lifespan, with a predicted minimum of 50 years of service. They are also available in three variants: Utility, Range, and Performance.
The Performance variant features a 280-kW (375-hp) electric motor with 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. It comes with a full-time 4x4 mechanical drivetrain, which allows for excellent off-road performance in all weather conditions. The Performance variant can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds and has a maximum braked towing capacity of 3,500 kg (7,716 lb).
The Munro MK-1 Pick-Up has a range of up to 300 kilometers (190 miles) on a single charge, and its battery can be charged from 15% to 80% capacity in just 36 minutes using a 100-kW DC charger. The rear bed is designed for easy loading and can hold a Euro pallet payload weighing up to 1,050 kg (2,315 lb).
Munro started taking orders for the MK-1 Pick-Up in May 2023, and the company has already received more than 200 orders, with a two-year order book for both the MK-1 Pick-Up and the MK-1 Truck. The starting price for the Munro MK-1 Pick-Up is £49,995 (excluding VAT).
